Job Description
EPS Corporation is seeking aSystem Engineerto provide technical expertise in planning, managing, and monitoring IT systems and infrastructure in support ofAir Force operations. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring system reliability, security, and efficiency while coordinating with government and mission stakeholders.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Education:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
At least 3 years of experience in systems infrastructure planning, engineering, or related roles.
2 or more years of experience with Visio for system and infrastructure documentation.
Extensive experience in IT infrastructure management, including system installations, documentation, and troubleshooting.
Proven experience with secure networks and systems, preferably with a focus on classified or sensitive environments such as JWICS.
Security Clearance:
Top Secret ClearanceandSCI Eligibilityrequired.
Certifications:
Security+ CEor higher certification.
VMware certification(Certified VMware professional or equivalent) required.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of system architecture, hardware, and software integration.
Proficiency in infrastructure design tools, system monitoring, and analysis.
Familiarity with security protocols and compliance requirements in government or defense environments.
Communication Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create detailed technical documentation.
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Other Requirements:
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Active security clearance or the ability to obtain one (if required for the role).
Additional Skills (Preferred):
Experience with classified networks and secure communications (JWICS).
Familiarity with systems management tools and processes for enterprise environments.
Experience conducting feasibility studies and recommending technology solutions
