Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY SECURITY SPECIALIST in the ADVANCED SECURITY DIVISION, SECURITY DEPARTMENT. This is a RE-ADVERTISEMENT of Announcement Number:ST-12625984-25-JMG. Responsibilities You will serve as the branch head for a team of Security Specialists with the Special Security Office (SSO). You will provide management, oversight, and administration of the Information, Personnel, Physical, and Industrial Security programs within Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs) in support of various teams across the Command. You will maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; developing personal growth opportunities; and providing leadership and supervision. You will provide coaching, counseling, and discipline to employees; plan, monitor, and appraise job results; conduct training; implement enforcing systems, policies, and procedures. You will maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing organization standards; adhering to legal regulations. You will administer all aspects of the security program protecting the Command from espionage, terrorism, and threats of unauthorized disclosure and/or compromise of information or material considered vital to mission interests. You will establish priorities and coordinate work across projects, programs or people, and effectively balance work demands. You will communicate orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and accurately to a large range of audiences. You will manage Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs): The SSO oversees the operation of all SCIFs in the command, including security, control, and use. You will also as the appointed Special Security Officer (SSO) for NAWCWD. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NM-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
