Minimum Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in the appraisal industry

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a leadership role with high-level communication

  • State residential appraisal certification or license

  • Knowledge of FIRREA, USPAP, Dodd-Frank and agency guidelines

  • Experience performing forensic value analysis

  • Ability to analyze reporting and measure outcomes to drive decisions

  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office suite

Job Summary

The Team Leader of Regional Staff Appraisers leads a team of remote staff appraisers through analyzing reports, monitoring work volume and resolving issues. This individual works closely with team members and leadership in completing projects and creating new processes. This team leader provides expert insight to help grow and develop their team members’ skill sets, while working to protect and foster the company mission.


  • Analyze internal reporting for appraiser production and turn-time metrics

  • Develop team members and convey the company mission while setting goals, providing solutions and monitoring team member efficiency

  • Monitor and regulate staff appraisers’ capacities on a daily and weekly basis

  • Reconcile value discrepancies and investigate borrower concerns or complaints

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of written policies and procedures

  • Lead team-based projects and communicate effectively with team members and leadership to help execute on business decisions

  • Support and implement long-range diversity and inclusivity strategies within the team
