Position Summary
Reporting to the Director, B2B, Channel and Membership Marketing, the key area of responsibility for this role is to manage the progression of candidates from the handoff from Product Marketing, nurturing them through their journey to the first destination in their ISC2 journey through to ISC2 membership. Through mapping customer journeys and identifying key milestones and blockers to progression, this role will implement necessary organizational wide interventions to build the professionals’ confidence, allowing them to progress through their journey quicker and increasing professionals taking and passing exams and ultimately becoming members.
Responsibilities
Based on the needs of the business, the priority and immediate area of focus will be driving candidates through to becoming Certified members, with a particular focus on driving exams
Gather and develop the insights needed to identify audiences and create market segments, personas and go to market strategies
In collaboration with global marketing leadership develop, direct, and execute multiple, simultaneous integrated global marketing strategies and campaigns for multiple customer touchpoints along the journey from purchase of training to certification
Work closely with both product and membership marketing teams to ensure seamless journeys for our customers as they move through their ISC2 experiences
Collaborate with the membership marketing team to incorporate relevant member benefit messaging to act as a pull to become a member
Strong collaborator with internal stakeholders who understands product, service, experience value propositions and best positions them in a customized and personalized way to target audiences
Works collaboratively across multiple departments including Creative, Media, Events, Communications, Strategy, Education and Professional Development
Demonstrate personal and professional commitment to working collaboratively across the organization, to foster a spirit of creativity, and to striving for operational excellence in all areas of responsibility
Formulates and adheres to budgets and goals while working with key stakeholders to implement marketing programs across all media including, but not limited to digital marketing, email marketing, social, PPC, third party and co-marketing agreements, print, mailers, etc.
Analyzes market data to improve and monitor the performance of marketing activities and plans
Completes analysis and recommends strategies
Responsible for leading, coaching and all performance management aspects of team

Motivate and lead a diverse, high-performing team, utilizing effective talent management practices to attract and retain team members
Ensure high levels of employee engagement, operations performance excellence, commitment to continuous learning and appropriate succession planning

- This role will have 3 direct reports
Qualifications
Marketing experience required in one or more of the following: information security, information technology, training and certification organizations or association membership
Excellent PC skills including MS Office products (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook), internet and web applications/navigation
Social media expertise using various platforms to include creating, influencing and increasing followings (LinkedIn, Twitter, FB, Instagram, AdWords, etc.)
Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud knowledge a plus
Demonstrated ability of marketing to a global audience
Budgetary control experience
Education and Work Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related field
8+ years related experience in marketing. Membership or Association marketing experience preferred
Physical and Mental Demands
Work normal business hours and extended hours, when necessary
Remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
Regular use of office equipment such as a computer/laptop and monitor computer screens
May occasionally, approximately 10% of the time, transport and/or lift up to 30 lbs. of equipment or packages, which may also involve squatting, bending, or kneeling
10-20% travel may be required
