Anthology Services Operations College Intern in United States

The Anthology Services Operations team is looking for the best and brightest data-oriented students for a paid internship. As an intern, you will apply your skills and experiences towards a variety of quality focused projects within the Services organization. As a result of this experience, you will develop crucial problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills and will be exposed to our ed tech business environment to understand how the Services organization contributes the greater business objectives of Anthology.

Primary Responsibilities

Responsibilities will vary according to the projects assigned, and can include:

  • Reviewing and analyzing current inventory of operational reports

  • Analyzing and interpreting data of low to medium complexity

  • Performing reliable and accurate data entry, validation and clean up

  • Leveraging analytical skills to identify process improvement opportunities

  • Preparing presentations and communications

  • Performing application testing and documenting test cases and defects

  • Delivering end-user training on new systems and/or technologies

  • It is expected that the individual:

  • Is a self-starter that manages time and activities with little day-to-day guidance or interaction from their manager

  • Works on multiple projects concurrently and shifts priorities as required to meet business requirements, deadlines and departmental goals and objectives

  • Is able to challenge the status quo, takes initiative to improve or simplify processes and raises issues in a professional and productive manner

Qualifications

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and entering the final year of pursuing a degree/major

  • Must have a cumulative GPA over 3.0

  • Proven leadership skills alongside academic, athletic, or extracurricular excellence

  • Creates high quality work product and demonstrates exceptional quality control

  • Aptitude and willingness to learn and self-teach new skills

  • Fearlessly curious, challenging the status quo by looking at solutions in unconventional ways and seeing opportunities to innovate

  • Strong written, verbal, analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to effectively operate both independently and as part of a team with strong interpersonal skills

  • Ability to navigate MS Office applications including Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
