Position Summary

Responsible for managing and growing a well-established sales territory within Evoqua's Light Industry Sales (LIT) team, which provides a complete line of pretreatment, generation, storage, and distribution solutions for high purity and wastewater applications in aerospace, beverage, government, health sciences, microelectronics, pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceuticals, universities, labs, and general industry. Meets with clients to specify and sell customized water treatment solutions, with a focus on selling Evoqua's ongoing preventative maintenance services as well. Acts as a point of contact post-sale, focused on ongoing customer satisfaction, retention, and growing business year over year. Maintains relationships with accounts by visiting customer sites within the assigned territory. In addition to face-to-face meetings, engages with customers in a variety of mediums to close sales and support clients. Responds to inquiries and offers bold recommendations on appropriate products and solutions. Responsible for advancing opportunities through the sales stages in CRM, along with being accountable for CRM data used for forecasting and SIOP. Must work safely with a sense of urgency to execute sales strategy, collaborate cross-functionally, and identify opportunities to increase sales volume while ensuring service levels are met.

Core Responsibilities and Tasks

• Contacts both new and existing customers to sell new and recurring business

• Gathers site information and uses it to create and deliver customer proposals

• Ensures customer satisfaction and retention by working across multiple departments to ensure flawless execution

• Accurately records information in CRM for forecasting

• Continues to stay up to date on company and customer technology to remain a trusted partner

• Conducts Sales Presentations and Product Demos

• Facilitates new customer engagements (Webinars, Lunch & Learns, Trade Shows, etc.)

• Sells complex products and services; utilizes developing knowledge of products, services, and industry to recommend best solutions to customers

• Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

FORMAL EDUCATION:

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• 2-5 years of experience

Preferred:

• BA/BS

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Required:

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across a variety of departments

• Strong ability to identify and cultivate sales from new and existing customers

• Dedication to learning our company's product offerings in depth

• Basic knowledge of water treatment systems and methods

• Experience with the collaborative selling process

• Ability to complete sales with little to no supervision

• Must have an acceptable driving record to be insurable for driving a company vehicle

• Basic understanding of ERP and CRM systems

• Fluency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, and Excel)

Preferred:

• Extensive knowledge of water treatment methods, including water softening, carbon filtration, reverse osmosis, UV purification, and deionization

Salary range:

$70,500.00 - $126,500.00
