Title: Senior Power Performance Testing Engineer
Employment Status: Part Time
Location: United States (Remote)
Compensation: $100.00-$145.00 per hour (Part Time)
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Power Performance Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our software products through rigorous testing and validation processes. You will collaborate closely with development teams to implement best practices in software quality assurance, utilizing your expertise in various programming languages and testing frameworks. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality software solutions.
Duties
Conducting power performance tests and related analyses to the IEC 614001-12 test standard
Conducting independent reviews of wind turbine technology and site suitability analyses for due diligence reports
Investigating warranty claims and participating in root cause investigations
Supporting end-of-warranty inspection campaigns
Analysis of operational data and evaluating performance upgrades on wind projects
Serving as Technical Manager of Wind Performance Testing Service Line per accreditation standards and expectations
Qualifications
Advanced Degree in Energy, and/or Environmental Sciences (related discipline upon review)
Strong experience with Renewable Energy, Power Generation, and Environmental Policy
Familiarity with behavioral dimensions of renewable energy
Solid understanding Qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
Experience creating and implementing testing processes, and procedures
Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members across various departments.
Previous experience in a testing Engineer is a plus
