SUMMARY

The Senior Marketing Content Writer & Campaign Manager leads integrated campaign planning, development, and execution to drive leads and support business growth. The position also leverages deep customer and business insights to engage clients through effective storytelling, thought leadership and media relations, helping to position our company as a leader in the logistics industry. This role leverages customer insights to drive demand generation programs and elevate credibility, consideration, and awareness for NXTPoint Logistics.

The role requires strong writing skills, content strategy experience, and project management abilities. The candidate must manage tight deadlines, collaborate well with others, and provide high-level service to internal stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Campaign Development and Management (50%):

  • Understand ideal customer profiles and buyer behaviors.

  • Use customer data to identify target segments and shape customer journeys, personas, pain points, and value propositions.

  • Work with the marketing director and service line SMEs to design, plan, execute, manage, and measure campaigns.

  • Use analytics tools to track, test, and optimize content success.

  • Ensure alignment of messaging across marketing, communications, and social media channels.

  • Work closely with the marketing director and data analyst to oversee comprehensive campaign analytics to drive continuous improvement in campaign performance and ROI.

Corporate Thought Leadership (50%):

  • Lead writer for thought leadership articles, case studies, flyers, etc.

  • Ensure messaging is tailored by audience and written from a customer perspective.

  • Drive credibility and consideration by ensuring all thought leadership content is compelling and useful.

  • Work with agency partner and marketing director to ensure web content stays up-to-date and leverages best practices in SEO and CRO.

  • Serve as the company SME and “editor in chief” for thought leadership activity.

  • Monitor market trends and use research data/insights to identify hot topics

QUALIFICATONS

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Management, Communications or Journalism, or related field required. Minimum of five (5) year’s experience of logistics writing and campaign management required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have experience in the Logistics and Transportation Industry. Must have experience working with Hubspot or other marketing automation platforms.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Proficient knowledge of Microsoft office products, Adobe Acrobat, and Canva; proficient knowledge of Marketing automation tools such as Hubspot. Ability to learn and effectively use relevant applications. Strong collaboration skills in a cross-functional environment. Ability to work under minimal supervision and with a strong sense of self-motivation. Strong attention to detail. Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively in a changing environment. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Excellent project management skills.
