Are you the type of person who is passionate about solving problems with well designed, maintainable software? In this role you will build innovative, high-quality software and help shape coding standards and solid technical design. We’re looking for someone that has technical excellence that can be applied across the software development life cycle including, but not limited to, planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.

What You’ll Do

  1. Deliver value to customers through design and delivery of software and solutions that may include front end interfaces, backend services , and logical/physical data storage.

  2. Design, c reate and m aintain all necessary CI/CD steps ( GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps) to deliver changes with high confidence of quality with minimized effort.

  3. Mentor/coach/teach other developers and engineers (either internal or external) using techniques like pair programming, developer community events, or mod sessions.

  4. Experience using test-driven development and an understanding of good test ing practices to design and automate several types of test ing .

  5. Efficiently use resources due to well-engineered software with a focus on security and maintainability while preserving the integrity of company, customer, and dealer data.

    What We’re Looking For

  6. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology with a minimum of 6 years of related experience; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  7. Advanced k nowledge of C#/ .Net , HTML, and Typescript/JavaScript frameworks (Angular preferred).

  8. Experience in developing, deploying, debugging and/or consuming API’s and cloud components (Azure preferred).

  9. Working experience with different data stores such as blob storage, relational and n on-relational databases.

  10. E xpertise using common data formats such as JSON, XML, and YAML and strong e xperience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, Bash.

  11. Experience with different containerization tools such as Docker and/or Kubernetes.

  12. Excels at deliver ing simple solutions to complex problems and has attention to detail with a sense of accuracy .

    Travel

    No t ravel is expected of this position.

Work Location

REMOTE: A team member’s day-to-day work may be best completed from a location other than a Vermeer campus. There will be instances where the work requires time spent on a Vermeer campus. Discuss specific arrangements with your manager. Remote team members are eligible for business-related reimbursements per the work location policy.
