UL, LLC Senior Commercial Technology Specialist in United States

  • Work with leaders and stakeholders across the organization to project manage commercial technology initiatives.

  • Develop and maintain project charters, project plans (Gantt charts), and leadership updates.

  • Work with change management specialists to plan, prepare, and implement change management activities to achieve project success criteria.

  • Assist with preparing, maintaining, presenting, and socializing the Commercial Technology Roadmap.

  • Assist with development of business cases for leadership evaluation and prioritization of commercial technology projects.

  • Assist with identifying new commercial technology improvement opportunities through various means including discovery with stakeholders and finding business insights through qualitative, and quantitative analysis.

  • Manage financials for projects and/or 3rd party contracts.

  • Manage software licensing.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, information systems or a related discipline.

  • Generally, 4 years’ experience as a Technology Analyst with project management experience

  • Project Management certification is a plus.

  • Project management skills using applicable project management methodologies and tools.

  • Ability to manage interdependencies and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, to drive initiatives and achieve objectives.

  • Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate to both technical and non-technical audiences and various levels of management and stakeholder groups.

  • Positive and collaborative interpersonal skills to work effectively with leaders and colleagues across the organization.

  • Engaging and approachable facilitator to lead and develop high performing collaborative workgroups, focused on process and results.

  • Excellent presentation, communication, and public speaking skills.

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.

  • Strong business acumen

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
