Our Teller Development team is seeking a Senior Business/Quality Analyst to join our team. This person will be responsible to work in an agile development process for teller software design and testing. This position will work with the software development team to research potential changes to the product, create software requirements, and to test software changes as they are built. This position will work in a hybrid environment and must be able to work in the Birmingham AL office 1-2 days a week.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Interacts with business units to gather system requirements and convey business requirements.

  • Prepares business requirements and functional specifications

  • Defines the system and functional requirements of the product.

  • Serves as a resource and/or participant in business process re-design activities

  • Assists the customer in determining if and how system enhancements may improve process flow and business function.

  • Reviews and provides feedback on requirements, design, and scope documents.

  • Contributes to end-user and project management documentation.

  • Works with the development team for testing enhancements to ensure an accurate, quality product and ensure changes are migrated into production correctly.

  • Collaboratively works with customer support team to resolve or diagnose defects.

  • Executes and creates test plans and clear, concise test scripts for new products or enhancements to existing products.

  • Defines comprehensive scenarios and variations in data to adequately perform testing.

  • Schedules and performs functional, integration, regression, and release testing; submits errors and issues to development for correction, and retests once errors have been corrected.

  • Reports test results and status as appropriate. Tracks defects and causal analysis to closure. May review and certify test results of other analysts and testers.

  • Assists in training and mentoring less experienced peers.

  • May perform other job duties as assigned.

What you'll need to have:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience as a business analyst that has been responsible for gathering software development requirements for complex systems.

  • Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills and the ability to understand and discuss highly technical concepts.

What would be nice for you to have:

  • Experience with Cloud Hosting deployment and or administration.

  • Experience with software quality assurance and automated testing.

  • Experience with banking systems especially teller systems.

  • Agile/Scrum experience.

  • Programming experience with C# and Selenium.
