We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Insurance Broker to join our dynamic company. The ideal candidate will be working as an insurance broker, have a deep understanding of the Marine insurance sector, as well as other insurance products, and have a proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships. This position can be located in Bergen, Oslo or Ålesund.

Typical activities will include;
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients & prospects, understanding their insurance needs and providing tailored solutions
Analyze and assess risk exposures and recommend appropriate insurance coverage
Negotiate insurance solutions on behalf of clients with relevant insurers and colleagues as appropriate
Manage the renewal process for existing clients, ensuring their coverage remains adequate and competitive
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and insurance products to provide informed advice to clients
Mentor and support junior colleagues, sharing knowledge and expertise to foster their development
Collaborate with internal teams and other international colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction
Build and further develop our client portfolio
Contribute to local and regional innovation strategies
Identify client needs beyond traditional marine products in collaboration with internal subject matter experts
Skills and experience that will lead to success;
Authorization as a marine insurance broker
Minimum 5-10 years of experience as an insurance broker
Strong knowledge of marine insurance products, regulations, and industry best practices
Ability to work independently and part of a team
A broad network of contacts in the marine industry, and in-depth market knowledge
Experience with major national and international marine companies
Excellent collaboration skills and team orientation. Skilled at building effective relationships with clients, colleagues, insurers and other stakeholders
Excellent communication skills in Norwegian and English, both verbal and written
