Location Description As a field sales employee, you will have the opportunity to travel and enjoy the flexibility that comes with remote work. We have retail customers across North America and team members in about every U.S. state. Responsibilities The Sr. Account Manager will manage all aspects of the everyday responsibilities of servicing Post Consumer Brands (PCB’s) pet portfolio business at Publix to create "Win / Win" opportunities to grow our collaborative business. Effective time management, building and fostering key customer and internal relationships, along with planning/organizing will be required to be successful. Responsibilities Direct call on Publix headquarters. Meet or exceed sales targets and stay within the allocated trade budget. Develop and implement merchandising programs that maximize profitable growth and meet the needs of both the Customer and Post Consumer Brands. Sell merchandising & distribution plans that maximize product mix, ensure correct placement, compliance with price points and maximize promotional opportunities. Conduct “Top to Top” meetings with Senior Post Consumer Brands and Company Executives. Maintain coordination with internal Post Consumer Brands departments to ensure all programs, sales initiatives, issues, and questions are resolved promptly. Evaluate and adjust sales plans to ensure plan implementation and achievement. Sell Post Consumer Brands' merchandising objectives to customers. Establish working relationships with key decision-makers at all levels of the organization. Accurate forecasting and communication sharing with Post Consumer Brands Demand planners. Assist the Category Manager in the development and delivery of category analysis and presentations. Able to prioritize multiple tasks and develop solutions to complex problems. Represents Post Consumer Brands as the primary contact on projects and customer needs. Additional Accounts may be assigned for workload balance. Qualifications Requirements Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5-7 years in CPG sales and/or cross functional role. Previous Sales support positions (trade management, category management, and consumer marketing) are desirable. Strong preference for Publix account management experience. Requires demonstrated skills in leadership and selling skills, strong interpersonal skills, and presentation skills. Must be effective at problem-solving (analysis, solution finding, and bringing resolution to a problem), communications (both written and oral), and self-management (set priorities, plan/organize own work, good at detail and follow through). Excellent working knowledge of Nielsen Syndicated data, PowerPoint, and Excel. Must be available to travel 30% Role is home office based and preference for position based in Florida or North Carolina.
