About the job
The Senior Salesforce Data Governance Analyst will take charge of discerning and responding to the business necessities of our Salesforce platform users. The candidate will also initiate and guide a top-tier data governance organization, spearhead important data enhancement discussions, organizational transformation, best practices workshops, and naturally, the implementation of data standardization practices, catalogs, and policies. The candidate will supervise the formation, execution, and outcomes of our Salesforce data initiatives. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ascertain that our Salesforce processes and data initiatives align with business goals. With a robust background in deploying new business processes, the candidate should work on maintaining and enhancing existing functionality, as well as bridging communication between technical and non-technical users. The individual should be capable of clearly expressing key data governance concepts and possess a keen interest in creating a future-oriented data governance program.
Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
Develop and maintain accurate project documentation, process maps, user manuals, and policy and procedure documents
Document data requirements, data strategy, data rules (standardization, cleanse, and validation)
Develop and maintain data dictionaries and metadata including data definitions
Promote data accuracy and adherence to Twilio’s defined governance practices
Perform data validation and data cleaning as necessary
Drive adoption of Salesforce among the user community and enhancing user experience through system improvements
Facilitate discussions with a broad range of stakeholders from various organizations (Marketing, Sales, GTM Operations, Enablement, Finance, Legal, Privacy) and various seniority level (Executives VP+)
Strong presentation skills ability to explain complex issues in simple ways
Work closely with sales, strategy, marketing, support leaders globally to address data inconsistencies and confusion
Basic understanding of ZoomInfo, LeadIQ or other Data provider applications
Sustain relationships and handle communications with data providers
Collaborate closely with business owners across functions, fully immerse yourself in data, draw insight from analysis, and then zoom out to develop compelling, synthesized recommendations
Liaising between business users and the IT team to scope project requirements and design Salesforce solutions to meet business needs
Partner with internal teams and stakeholders to leverage emerging AI technology to improve process efficiency, effectiveness and end user experience
Collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, management, and cross-functional teams within the organization to understand their needs and objectives
Assist in the planning, design, and oversight of Salesforce system configurations, customizations, and integrations
Conduct business process analyses, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefit analyses to align Salesforce technology with the organization's business objectives
Work extensively with end-users to facilitate user acceptance testing, providing support, and addressing issues as needed
Create and enhance Data Quality Dashboards
Thrive at structured critical thinking, analytical processing, problem-solving, synthesizing ideas, and written and verbal communication
Business / process / Sales operations support experience
Able to work independently and consider cross-functional and downstream impacts
Ability to exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate actions
Provide day-to-day Salesforce support to users, which includes managing system changes, and report modifications
Ability to question the status quo and think outside the box
Lead, collaborate and act on point with wider Sales Operations teams
Experience with day to day territory & data operations activities, yearly territory planning and successful deployment of territories (preferably in Salesforce platform)
Understanding of Lead to Opportunity business processes with an emphasis on Territory and Role/Forecast Hierarchy

Required:
Minimum years of experience required for this role as 5+ years
Proven experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst or in a similar role
Extensive knowledge of Salesforce administration, configuration and customizationStrong understanding of business processes and Salesforce CRM best practices
Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
Excellent project management skills with experience in Agile/Scrum methodology
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
Strong knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., MS Excel, Tableau)
Strong interpersonal, leadership, and critical thinking skills
Willing to work in the shift supporting PST zone
Desired:
Heroku platform & SQL experience is desirable
Experience with Tableau & Tableau CRM is a plus
Salesforce certified admin or equivalent experience
Certified SCRUM Master or equivalent experience
Adept at queries, writing reports and making presentations
