1.General job duties. Types of procedures required. Care for med-surg patients. 5:1 ratio 2.Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.) EPIC, Pyxis 3.Required skills and minimum years of experience. 1 year med/surg experience, BLS 4.Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc) IN or compact RN license, BLS 5.Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? are weekends required?) 3 weekend shifts per 4 weeks 6.Floating to other units/departments. (If so, to which units/departments?) All medical units at Randallia (med/surg extended, State med/surg, Carew med/surg, 4 medical and 2 surgical 7.Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept. 7 on extended but will float to units as large as 24. 8.Nurse to patient ratio of this unit.
