Job Description
Part-Time Position
Perform experiments involving transgenic mice and cell culture. Laboratory duties include but are not limited to mouse breeding/genotyping, PCR, Western blot, cell cultures and assisting in laboratory maintenance.
Train and provide oversight for other laboratory personnel in these areas as needed.
Other duties as required.
Required Education and Experience:
BS or in nutrition or relevant area of life sciences or equivalent combination of education and experience plus an additional 2 (two) years of related experience.
Preferred Experience:
Animal handling experience is highly preferred.
Required Knowledge Abilities and Skills:
Good communication and computer skills. Ability to multi task and work cooperatively with others.
