Job Description

As a member of the Catalyst Center with the School of Social Work, Center for Innovation in Social Work and Health (CISWH), the Research Assistant (RA) will support research and policy activities. The RA may support other activities involving evaluation, technical assistance and training. The RA is expected to contribute to research and technical assistance projects and activities in a variety of ways.

Core Competencies

  • Written & oral communications: Ability to read and write in English in order to communicate optimally with the staff and other stakeholders. Ability to conduct literature review, critical analysis and synthesis of information.

  • Knowledge: Ability to demonstrate basic knowledge and fundamental concepts, practices and procedures with the ability to use them.

  • Administrative and clerical: Ability to use procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms and other office procedures.

  • Experience with specialize software and datasets, as the need arises by the Principal Investigator (PI)/lead researcher.

This position is eligible for tuition remission at Boston University, and students currently working on their Master's degrees in the Boston area are encouraged to apply.
