BlackBox Remote Solutions Architect- Enterprise Network in United States
The Solution Architect's (SA’s) role is one of a pre-sales resource to utilize their enterprise networking technology background to lead the consultative discovery of the client/prospect’s business goals, objectives, and challenges and to translate them into effective enterprise network solutions. The SA plays a leadership role, by analyzing business requirements, presenting related solutions, and driving the business case and financial justifications. Qualified candidates will possess deep experience in the data communications and/or network industry in a sales-oriented, technical solution design and architecture role. Knowledge and experience of LAN, WAN and SDWAN important.

Develop and design enterprise network LAN/WAN solutions and strategies
Serve as a deal architect for multi-faceted, multi-technology solutions
Develop and deliver technical presentations with customers and tailor content to audience as appropriate
Author and deliver network designs, statements of work (SOWs) and proposals
Understand the competitive technological and vendor landscape
BS or BA in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent work experience
5+ years in a customer/client facing technical Architect and consultant role (Pre/Post Sales, Sales Engineering, Consulting, Solutions Architecture, Service Delivery, etc.) with a strong knowledge of various network architectures.
Ability to present both technical and non-technical information to broad audiences
Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively work in a team environment and explain complex system solutions customers.
Working experience with large network solution providers and enterprise networks
Ability to accommodate travel between 10-25%
Cisco, Juniper, HP, certified or experience in related technologies.
In depth understand and experience with network IP routing and VLAN switching technologies and protocols
