Humanetics Regional Sales Manager in United States

Fibercore is seeking a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) for the US West and LATAM territory. The RSM will be responsible for driving revenue within the territory for Fibercore’s complete product line. The RSM will be responsible for key account management for large OEM accounts and the RSM will actively manage channel partners in the territory to include distributors and reps.

The RSM is responsible for all aspects of the sales process and will utilize the Salesforce CRM to document, track, and advance opportunities for sales to the point of close. The RSM will utilize sales process, strategies, and tools to uncover, develop, and close new opportunities in the territory. The RSM will work as part of the Fibercore team by forecasting upcoming business, following contract review procedures, interfacing with engineering, quality, operations, and marketing for specific customer and territory related tasks.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain key account plans for large accounts in the territory.

  • Organize and conduct frequent meetings with customers, both in-person and virtual.

  • Build strong relationships with customers.

  • Provide excellent customer service by being responsive, accurate, consultative, and professional in all customer dealings.

  • Present Fibercore products and technologies to customers.

  • Use Salesforce CRM to forecast, track, and move opportunities to close.

  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and technical information for customers.

  • Network and prospect within the territory to uncover new opportunities, contacts, customers, and partners to grow the territory.

  • Gather market data regarding large projects, funding sources, competitors, and issues to report to management.

  • Identify critical success factors and help lead the Fibercore organization to success in the territory.

  • Actively participate in select tradeshows and key industry events in territory.

  • Other tasks as assigned.

  • Travel up to 50%

    Requirements

  • 5 years relevant experience in selling technical products, preferably fiber optics or photonics related.

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a science or technology subject area; Masters’ or higher is a plus.

  • Strong technical and analytical aptitude

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to establish long term relationships.

  • Must be organized, efficient, and display tenacity and resilience.

  • Be able to work individually and as part of a team. Be self-motivated, ambitious, and have ownership of your work product.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Have curiosity and an eagerness to learn; be willing to share your learnings.
