Radiology Supervisor - Radiology Full Time Day Shift
Under the direction of the Radiology Manager, the Radiology Supervisor is responsible for planning and overseeing all operational aspects and activities for assigned sections/modalities, locations, and support areas. While the range of duties and responsibilities is broad and varied, the major responsibilities are supervising all day-to-day operations including the delivery of care, patient satisfaction, human resource management, equipment oversight and process improvement activities. In addition to daily supervision, this individual will participate in planning efforts involving space, equipment, staff, systems, services, supplies, budgeting and financial management and future programs and services. The Supervisor is a positive, effective member of the Radiology management team, fostering a customer/patient focused perspective and ensuring a strong commitment to organizational service standards. The individual maintains collaborative multi-disciplinary relationships within and outside of the organization. Actively and consistently contributes to department operations and communications, behaves in a manner consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Pipeline Health, upholding standards of AIDET (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, Thank you) patient communication.
Experience:
Three (3) years of relevant clinical experience.
One (1) year of relevant clinical experience in a leadership role.
Registered in more than one modality and/or familiar with imaging within two or more modalities.
Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, strong organizational skills, ability to follow verbal instructions, and PC (computer) skills.
A capacity to learn, synthesize, make critical judgments, work independently, place patients and families first, and collaborate with the team members who are recognized leaders within health care.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, preferred.
Licensure/Certifications:
American Registry of Radiology Technologists, ARRT, required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA), required.
Certified Radiologic Technologist, CRT/RHF, preferred.
AB508 Workplace Violence Prevention (4 hour) due within 30 days.
OR
- Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB 1 or MAB 2), Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or other certification covering AB508 and SB1299.
