Triple Cities Metal Finishing is currently seeking a Quality Sorter to join our team. As a Quality Sorter you will play a crucial role in maintaining quality, safety, and productivity through a hands-on approach. Specifically, the role focuses on sorting parts according to customer specifications, ensuring quality control, and maintaining an organized work environment. Since 1945, TCMF has made innovative, as well as necessary changes in the way we conduct everyday business. From advanced surface preparation to highly technical finishing processes, we can handle the smallest pieces to large parts over 30 feet long.

Our three shifts of skilled professionals in our 125,000 square foot facility have made us the vendor of choice for metal finishing for Northeastern United States. Whether it is electroplating, electroless plating, wet paint, or powder coat, we finish it right the first time!

Position Overview

  • Sort Parts: Organize and sort parts as per instructions, ensuring proper categorization and preparation for packing.

  • Labeling and Documentation: Accurately label sorted parts and maintain detailed records of sorted and rejected items.

  • Quality Assurance: Inspect parts during the sorting process for adherence to quality standards.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records and ensure all data is correctly logged.

  • Administrative Duties: Assist with various administrative tasks.

  • Collaboration: Coordinate and communicate with the Supervisor to address any issues found during inspection.

  • Safety and Compliance: Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow all safety guidelines and protocols.

    Qualifications :

  • Education :

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent is preferred.

  • Experience:

  • Relevant experience in metal finishing, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.

  • Quality Control Experience: Familiarity with quality control processes and standards.

  • Skills & Competencies:

  • Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail and accuracy.

  • Communication: Clear communication is essential for reporting findings and collaborating with production teams.

  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and recommend solutions.

  • Technical Skills: Basic math and computer skills, ability to use specialized testing tools and machinery.

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and read technical documents and blueprints.

  • Quality Standards: Ensure all products and parts meet stringent quality standards.

    Shift:

  • Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm

    Total Compensation Package:

  • Wage

  • $17.00/hour

  • Compensation depends on the selected candidate's experience.
