What we want
The Program Coordinator is responsible for planning and implementing a recruitment plan to recruit highly competitive students to the graduate programs at the School of Public Health. Participates in job fairs and events, coordinates information sessions, and host presentations, creates marketing materials and content for distribution (both hardcopy and online), serves as one of the primary contacts to respond to inquiries regarding graduate program offerings. Plans and facilitates orientation and onboarding events to ensure a successful transition for
our students into the graduate program.

Salary: Compensation will be commensurate to the selected hire’s experience.
Other Requirements and Factors: Travel for the purposes of marketing and recruitment will be required both within and outside of Texas to schools, college fairs, and other relevant events.
Must be flexible for multi-day or evening travel to accommodate recruitment events.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree
2 years of recruiting experience
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently, multitask and work cooperatively with others
Responsibilities:
Create and Implement Recruitment Plan
Coordinates, plans and implements recruitment plan to recruit highly competitive students to the graduate programs.
Coordinates participation in job fairs and events, coordinates information sessions, and hosts presentations.
Creates marketing materials and content for distribution both hardcopy and online. Serves as one of the primary contacts to respond to inquiries (via phone, email, and in-person) regarding graduate program offerings.
Communicates professionally and maintains timely responses.
Develops and implements a marketing plan to promote and evaluate recruitment and engagement of prospective students which includes social media campaigns and creating website content.
Orientation, Traveling and Onboarding Events
Plans and implements orientation events for incoming graduate students and assists in the evaluation of these events.
Travels to events as needed.
Reporting
Develops and provides regular recruitment activity reports.
Maintains program records and databases for strategic planning and tracking trends, yield rates and outcomes.
Budgets for Future Planning
- May assist in preparation and monitoring of budgets for recruitment and orientation programs and events.
Programming Opportunities
- May assist in identifying funding and programming opportunities, specifically for recruitment programs.
Supervision
May supervise program staff and/or student assistants.
Performs other duties as assigned.
