HOW YOU WILL MAKE DIFFERENCE
The product trainer is primarily responsible for conducting operator training programs for STERIS customers to ensure development of product knowledge and expertise and to provide user support of STERIS product technologies. In addition, responsible for conducting training sessions for new hire employees, sales and service teams.
Technical user support of product technologies and application.
This role’s purpose is to support STERIS’s vision in creating a healthier and safer world by managing STERIS customer contract and non-contract needs and going above and beyond to meet our Customer’s expectations.
What is involved
Design, deliver and evaluate training programmes to customers, prospective customers and company staff on a regular basis both on site and in office.
Conduct in-service education and support sales and clinical representatives with in-service support when possible and requested.
Demonstrate a high level of knowledge on all STERIS product ranges
Troubleshooting user issues in customer accounts in relation to improper use or technical issues
Maintain communication with customers in an effort to identify repetitive problems or training issues
Assist sales representatives with product expertise as a part of the sales process
Assist service department with product expertise as part of STERIS after sales education and support programs
Quote customers and chase training leads to generate aftersales training revenue
Provide advice on relevant occupational health issues relating to products
Provide advice on relevant ISO and HTM standards/guidance
Willing to travel throughout the UK and Ireland
Required Experience
Experience working in a sterilisation / decontamination environment.
A clear communicator who can simplify complex information
Experience building and managing stakeholder/learner relationships
Team player with a positive, ‘can do’ attitude
Excellent organisational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and quick learner of new systems and technologies
Proven experience delivering engaging and effective training in various formats
Ability to design and develop training material
Previous proven experience in a similar role
Operate in a field based role
