This position offers the exciting opportunity to be a part of the salesforce.com Product & Pricing Operations Team. The person will be responsible for developing data creation and validation processes and policy for our Product & Pricing Operations team members. In addition, this person will own the triage and assignment/execution of Product Lifecycle Management cases. The individual we are seeking is self-directed and team-oriented with the ability to understand the needs of technical/business/sales users, and deliver projects and tasks necessary to make everyone successful. The individual will be responsible for creating, testing and troubleshooting configurations, assisting with release management, building reports, analyzing data, and producing process documentation. Successful candidates will be able to work effectively within cross-functional teams to identify and gain agreement on business requirements and track all project tasks and issues.


  • Drive process and technical system improvements

  • Coordinate and lead cross-functional meetings, document decisions & follow-up on actions.

  • Manage projects including tracking tasks, issues, system requirements, and risks

  • Identify product packaging and quoting business requirements and system impacts

  • Gather requirements and execute on new data creation in the following areas:

  • Configuring new price books and product SKUs in salesforce systems

  • Leading in the analysis, design, testing, and implementation of new product configurations

  • Building out discounting structure in our quoting system

  • Migrating data to multiple environments where necessary

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelors degree

  • Project management methodology

  • 3-5 years in complex business and technical environments

  • Advanced proficiency using SQL queries and tools, as well as SOQL (Salesforce Object Query Language)

  • Proficiency in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, macros)

  • Prior experience as a Business Analyst or Project Manager

  • Solid written and verbal communication skills

  • Solid organizational skills, process orientation, and attention to detail required

  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements, problem-solve, and produce results

  • Able to think independently and consider cross-functional and downstream impacts.

  • Price book management experience is a plus

  • Technical and functional knowledge of Salesforce and CRM

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision

  • Get it done attitude with a strong sense of team
