Radius Health, Inc. Procurement Manager/Senior Manager - Contract in United States
The Procurement Manager / Sr. Manager role is a contract or contract-to-permanent position within the procurement operations team for immediate hire. Radius is implementing a new Oracle Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and this role will backfill a departing Sr. Category Manager. This includes serving as subject matter expert (SME) on Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process for the ERP team as well as daily Purchase Order processing oversight activities. The focus will be to get up to speed quickly on company’s P2P process and Oracle ERP platform in order to provide cut over and go live support for new ERP implementation. Additional focus will be to assist with maintaining the procurement operational function, execute order volume, and finalize contracts in alignment with the purchase order process. This position will also help to field questions, issues, and other items related to tactical daily activities. This position will report directly to Senior Director, Capital, Strategy and Transactions Group.
Serve as Procurement SME in collaboration with cross-functional internal business partners to support our ERP platform, purchase requisitions, new supplier requirements, and purchase order resolutions
Lead corporate training of ERP usage and policy standards
Provide guidance and advice to internal business partners on system usage
Lead strategic sourcing and RFP process
Review/verify purchase requisitions are complete and approved following established company policies and procedures
Oversee the creation, execution, and communication of all purchase orders, referencing proper terms and contracts
Oversee new supplier onboarding process and maintain master supplier data
Lead resolution of supplier related issued such as invoice and delivery issues
Support the performance of internal controls for continued effectiveness of the Company’s internal control framework
Five+ years of experience in pharmaceutical industry purchasing operations
Proficiency in utilizing an Oracle ERP platform, with recent experience and cloud version preferred
Strong understanding of procure-to-pay process including internal controls and SOX compliance
Experience with leading business transformation
Experience with reviewing and understanding contract terms and conditions
Understanding of basic accounting principles
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred
Clinical and Commercial experience in Biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
Solid problem-solving capabilities, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced and primarily remote environment
CPSM or other related professional certification a plus
