L3Harris is searching for a talented and dynamic Procurement Associate in MDG Center of Excellence as part of our P2P organization. Our P2P organization is organized to exact benefits from leveraging enterprise-wide spend and efficiencies associated with central and shared governance, planning, processes, systems, resources, communications and other infrastructure; and execute on a geographically and commodity beneficial basis to support the unique requirements of each of our business unit operating sites. The Procurement Associate will be a key direct contributor in the corporate vendor master revision program by supporting strategic ERP projects post implementation as this individual will be insuring the accuracy of data utilized in vendor creation and change process. The position will report directly to the Corporate Procure to Pay organization. The Procurement Associate will collaborate with multiple functions across the organization, business units, and will work to achieve superior performance in delivering improved operational effectiveness and efficiency. The person in this role will interface with and Procurement, A/P, Supplier Chain, Operations, IT, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Engineering and other functional groups as needed. The candidate should also be able to liaise with internal and external functions as well as buyers, managers, executives and business users.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Review supplier documentation for completeness and accuracy and maintain data in our Master Data database

  • Correct discrepancies in information contained within Master Data database and local ERP systems

  • Manipulate large quantities of data and report results to all levels of management

  • Work closely with Finance Department to resolve payment issues due to system abnormalities

  • Assist in identifying root cause of system communication issues and offer corrective actions

    Qualifications:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 4 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge in database management associated with supply chain principles and concepts, spend management tools, purchasing insight into buying and selling principles, financial and quantitative analytical skills, performance measurement tools, Lean Six Sigma

  • Strong analytical skills with experiences in Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint is preferred

  • Exposure and experience to ERP such as Peoplesoft, Ariba, SAP

In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role in Colorado is $41,500 - $78,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
