Privacy Program Manager-US Remote

The Allegion Privacy Office is a fast-growing team responsible for the global privacy program. You will be a key member of the team as we automate privacy processes with digital tools. You will also have exposure to our senior leaders including our executive leadership team. The Privacy Team is not only focused on privacy issues related to Allegion internal processes and employee data, but also Allegion’s commercial and consumer security products and solutions. You will support the global and cross-platform deployment of various mission critical programs relating to deployment of policies & standards, data mapping, privacy audit and various training initiatives relating to existing and future compliance programs and initiatives.

As a global security company, you will advise internal clients on laws such as California Consumer Privacy Act, General Data Protection Regulation, and other global privacy and data protections laws and regulations. The Privacy Analyst role will report to the Deputy General Counsel and Chief Privacy Officer of Allegion.

What You Will Do:

Project / Program Management

  • Contribute to the building and maturing of the Global Data Privacy compliance program.

  • Coordinate the implementation of complex special projects.

  • Engage and communicate with stakeholders across platforms and world areas within the entire company.

Communication / Training & Development

  • Deliver suitable training and communications that support the Global Privacy program.

  • Assist with the deployment and maintenance of relevant tools (OneTrust, SharePoint pages and others).

  • Act as a primary point of contact for the Allegion Corporate and platform IT-security teams.

Management / Administration of Global Data Privacy & Information Governance Tools

  • Together with other members of the team, act as administrator and super user of relevant Global Data Privacy tools, such as One Trust.

  • Act as primary point of contact for tool maintenance and handle requests and issues on a day-to-day basis.

Day-to-Day Global Data Privacy & Information Governance activities

  • Together with other members of the team, act as the focal point of contact for day-to-day queries from various departments.

  • Managing privacy risk assessments for existing and new systems for regulatory compliance purposes.

  • Managing data subject requests including responding to requests for access to personal data, rectification, erasure, or restriction of processing

  • Assist in any other day-to-day activity related to Global Data Privacy.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • 4+ years of legal or privacy experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent); Master’s Degree a plus

  • Experience prioritizing work and providing advice under deadlines

  • Business judgment and client counseling experience

  • Experience advancing projects in a multi-stakeholder environment including the ability to influence others

  • Minimal travel required

Compensation: This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.

  • The expected Base Salary Range: $100,000 to $131,300. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

  • Bonus Eligible: Yes
