Job Title: Principal Generative AI Engineer

Location: 100% Remote 

Compensation: $73.00 per hour, Paid Time off, Company 401k contributions, Health, dental, and vision insurance. Total Annual Compensation including benefits is $168,400.00

    Job Description:

  • Understand organization's vision, goals, and strategies. Aligns department priorities appropriately, determines critical success factors, evaluates, and pursues initiatives based on fit with strategies.

  • Play an instrumental and influential role in driving Generative AI vision, strategy, and architecture.

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the Generative AI team.

  • Architect and deliver a container-based approach which makes app-hosting scalability effective.

  • Lead the overall GenAI integration process from ideation to delivery and operationalization.

  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the CI/CD pipelines for GenAI solutions.

  • Define and deliver quality API access to multiple GenAI services.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to streamline the solution change management.

  • Monitor, optimize and troubleshoot production systems to ensure high performance.

  • Identify areas of opportunity to optimize tasks using AI-driven solutions.

  • Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and designers to develop AI-powered tools and insights.

  • Promote best practices in GenAI through knowledge sharing and training programs.

  • Communicate GenAI architecture strategies and initiatives to business stakeholders and leadership.

  • Promote the value of GenAI and DevOps across the Commercial and BTS organizations.

    Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ Years of experience

  • Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect, Solution Architect, or a similar role, with a focus on AI/ML and generative AI.

  • Strong understanding of generative AI techniques, including deep generative models, autoregressive models, and reinforcement learning for generative tasks.

  • Hands-on experience of machine learning methodologies including advanced analytics tools (such as R and Python) along with applied mathematics, ML and Deep Learning frameworks and libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras) and ML techniques.

  • Proven expertise with LLMs (Microsoft Azure Open AI – Char GPT 4.0 and other LLM models) including API access for GenAI.

  • Proven expertise in CI/CD pipeline design and management in the Generative AI space including experience with LLMOPS.

  • Understanding of AI agents (both worker and orchestrator) to facilitate decisioning and deployment of complex applications.

  • Proven experience with Python development and troubleshooting code.

  • Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools.

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and infrastructure as code.

  • Multi-year experience with AI and machine learning concepts and tools.

    Spotlight Call Notes:

  • We have multiple Gen AI projects that the candidate will be working on. I manage the platform for the US architecture and commercial side and this candidate will be on my team. They will be guiding other team members to the solution after finding it out themselves.

  • The team will be new, right now he has a few members from previous teams that he is building off of. We will be specializing in working on all the Gen AI applications that are in initial phases.

  • Required skills that the hiring manager is looking for:

  • Basic knowledge of LLM. We are currently using open AI and anthropic but experience with those is not required but would be a nice to have.  Any experience with LLM is required.

  • Someone with a Data scientist background and experience with python is required.

  • LangChain experience is required but TensorFlow is a nice to have.

  • They must have communication skills to present to hire ups.

  • Experience with enterprise architecture or solution architecture is a nice to have.

  • The candidate must have experience developing chatbots.

  • A Bachelor’s degree is required.

  • Experience with big data tools like snowflake or EMR would be helpful but is not required.

  • Pharmaceutical experience would be helpful but not required.

  • Azure DevOps is what we are currently using so experience with that would be helpful as well.
