What impact you’ll make:
The PES PMO Region Leader will lead an organization of project directors/managers who manage complex aftermarket projects involving Conversions, Modifications, and Upgrades (CM&Us) on one or more of the following: Industrial Heavy-Duty Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines, Generators, Heat Recovery Steam Generators, and/or balance-of-plant equipment within the NAM Region in conjunction with Power Services Enabling Functions of Engineering, Parts/Sourcing, Repairs, and One Field Services as well as critical equipment and turn-key suppliers in the region and globally. The director will drive process discipline throughout the project team, and ensure the business key objectives of safety, project quality, Cost management, margin accretion and while managing complex issues within functional areas of expertise. Additionally, the director will also be involved in long-term business, supply / capacity, and resource planning, contributing to the overall strategy of the CM&U business segment, and champion continuous improvement and partner with the ITO team and PMO Risk to drive enhanced proposal quality and executability across the Upgrades Profit Pool
Job Description
What you’ll do:
Lead the OTR (Order to Remittance) activities related to the NAM CM&U projects to ensure timely / quality execution, strong customer satisfaction, and project profitability.
Drive effective portfolio level planning, cost management, and prioritization of project execution to ensure maximum profitability for the Pole.
Own financial performance of the CM&U projects with respect to business objectives.
Own and drive effective ITO/OTR (R3) turnovers to ensure project deliverables are clear and in line with fulfillment processes.
Utilizing LEAN methodology champion process improvement related to project execution and customer engagement to ensure the PM (Project Management) team performs at a high level and delivers world class results.
Accountable for driving pole fulfillment key performance indicators
Drive organizational and functional effectiveness to achieve business goals and develop employees
Partner with the business line and enabling functions to drive issue resolution, proactive risk mitigation and continuous improvement leading to enhanced project outcomes
Create an environment which enables the attraction and retention of qualified talent to the organization
Own all aspects of project execution for the Pole, including cross-functional coordination of engineering, procurement, shipping logistics, field/ outage execution and performance demonstration.
What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications):
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College or University, preferably in a technical or business degree.
Obtain PMO Project Manager Qualification within 24 months of assignment including successful training, passing a review board, and obtaining the Project Management Institute’s Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.

Eligibility Requirements: Ability and willingness to travel (25%)
Proven experience in a management / leadership role with direct reports
Master's Degree in Business Administration or Engineering from an accredited university or college
Significant Project, Construction, Field Engineering and/or Contract Management experience in power industry
Experience in a customer facing role working through negotiations and solving issues
High energy level, self-starter
Deep technical knowledge of HDGT and GTCC product lines and associated systems
Passion and knowledge of LEAN implementation in a Services organization.
Strong Portfolio Experience; strategic thinking and problem solving
Strong people management, team building, performance management, strategic and operations planning, process management, negotiation, and relationship management skills
Promotes a diverse and inclusive workforce with the ability to attract, mentor and grow talent
Strong skills in customer relationship building, facilitation, and matrix management
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leaderships skills to gain acceptance and buy in from other matrix functions to accomplish improvement projects
PMP Certification, Project Management Leadership Program (PMLP) Graduate, or other Project Management training.
Pay Transparency:
For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is 140,300.00 - 233,800.00. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for 15% annual performance incentive.
