CTG is seeking to fill a remotePerformance Engineer openingfor our client in Buffalo, NY.

Location: Remote

Duration: 12+ months

Overview:

Serves as technologist for an individual technology or set of technologies.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Technology management, more experienced Engineers, and support teams on a regular basis to implement and manage the design, development, and execution of technical solutions that meet or exceed current and future needs of the organization.

• Responsibilities may include infrastructure review, implementation, and design, creation of support and architectural documentation, standards, policies, analysis, and testing.

• Seek to expand knowledge and understanding of financial services trends, practices, and technologies on a continuous basis.

• Follow and promote use of industry best practices, standards and procedures.

• Maintain a working knowledge of specific systems and services supported by department. Work with senior technical staff to understand, manage, and support elements of the service catalog. Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.

Education and Experience Required:

• Demonstrated knowledge of programming languages and ability to program

• Microsoft Office required

• Ability to do basic statistical mathematics

• Excellent written & oral communication skills

• in Performance & Load Testing

• Computer Science or IT 4 year degree (or equivalent related IT work experience)

Education and Experience Preferred:

• Experience in Dynatrace

• Systems Infrastructure

• LoadRunner experience

• C programming language

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $94,000 to $115,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
