This position is a Hybrid role working out of our location in Ashland City, TN.
Primary Function
As the Order Fulfillment Business Project Analyst, you will function as a trusted data advocate and partner within the business, utilizing data and analytics to support the overall strategic initiatives for the North American Water Heating (NAWH) customer service group. You will be responsible for owning every aspect of analytics projects: from working with end users to scope requirements, to deploying and maintaining a completed dashboard or report. The ideal candidate will enjoy turning senseless rows and columns of data into valuable business insights and will possess a passion for growing a data culture within an organization.
Responsibilities
Curate and apply business data and analytics tools to provide strategic analysis of key customer service initiatives
Participate in workshops/meetings with customers to analyze data trends to support problem solving activities.
Work closely with our Business & Technology Solutions teams, as well as various business units to create and maintain data sources, reports, visualizations, and dashboards.
Simultaneously participate in multiple, high priority analytics projects that are often at varying stages of maturity
Perform ad hoc analytics for time sensitive requests as needed.
Present key insights and recommendations to customer service leadership.
Act as the analytics support on our Performance Excellence Process (PEP) project teams.
Actively participate in our analytics community programs, including monthly community meetings and mentoring functional analysts within the business.
Help create and maintain Voice of the Customer (VOC) surveys/reports which help drive problem solving activities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in related field
3+ years of related work experience or training
Advanced Excel skills including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and preferably exposure to VBA)
Proficiency with MS Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint)
Proficiency with data visualization analytics tools (Tableau preferred, Power BI,Qlik, Excel Analysis, Celonis)
Capable of working cross functionally with other areas of the business at all levels.
Excellent communication / influencing skills capable of maintaining positive internal / external relationships
Experience with data storytelling and presenting data to a non-analytical audience in a clear and concise manner; proven ability to find insights in data
Detail oriented, but with the ability to step back and look at the “big picture” of a project or request
A respect for the importance of data literacy when working with analytics
A basic understanding of statistical measures and when to apply them
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Related Field
