ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides temporary leadership support across the operations network as needed, addressing staffing gaps, operational challenges, new location openings, location closures, and other identified needs.

  • Maintain a solid understanding of all operational processes. Support the senior management team while providing updates and solutions on issues about business impact.

  • Serves as acting Manager in locations requiring additional leadership support. Fulfills all Operations Manager and/or Quality Control Manager responsibilities in a temporary capacity in assigned-to locations. Quality Control needs may include additional field responsibility, including conducting ride behinds, Quality Control checks in customer homes, claims resolution, and driver performance and management.

  • Ensures customer requirements and expectations are adhered to in both customer facilities and customer homes. Ensures professionalism is maintained within team and across customer interactions.

  • Conducts onsite evaluations of assigned-to locations to establish standard task assignments by position.

  • Maintain documented plans for each assigned-to location based on the evaluation in coordination with Operational Leadership.

  • Provide oversight across the network to ensure our teams are utilizing appropriate processes to ensure quality outcomes on company defined metrics.

  • Implement and maintain standard business processes for the assigned-to locations to manage Operations effectively.

  • Establish action plans by location if performance is deemed under standards.

  • Conduct on and off-site training as needed to ensure consistent utilization of our standard business and task assignments.

  • Maintain strong relationships with all Operations, Leadership, and relevant departments to effectively support all implementation activity.

  • Train, Implement and enforce company policies, standards, and procedures. Promote strong focus on company culture.

  • Actively review key performance measurements and ensure process improvement strategies are identified and incorporated.

  • Identify systems tools needed to implement process improvement and efficiency

QUALIFICATONS

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Business, Engineering, or related discipline; or equivalent experience in lieu of degree. Must possess a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in transportation, logistics, final mile or supply-chain related field. Must possess a valid drivers license and a clean MVR.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to travel within the United States up to 70% of the time.
