ManTech Mission Support Business Development Lead in United States

Our Digital Transformation Consulting Division (DTD) specializes in high-end consulting that is solving the federal government’s hardest problems by delivering performance-based and outcome-driven digital transformation solutions. ManTech’s Digital Transformation Division’s (DTD) Mission Support (MS) Practice is seeking a dynamic, proven Business Developer to actively participate in the identification, and development of new business opportunities, assisting with program captures, proposals, and strategic planning. The selected candidate will work with MS Practice Director, Program Managers, and Subject Matter Experts and the DTD Growth Team to support program strategies, account/business (practice) plans, conduct program reviews and customer assessments, and build and maintain relationships with external and internal customers.

This is a 100% remote opportunity.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Support all phases of customer relationships, business development, and proposals with emphasis on identification, qualification, and capture phases.

  • Identify and qualify prospective teaming partners.

  • Work with MS Practice leadership and staff to develop programmatic and technology discriminators enabling successful program capture.

  • Identify and develop potential clients and maintain client relationships.

  • Gather useful information from customer and competitor data.

  • Develop and give presentations to prospective clients and internal executives.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years of federal government business development experience.

  • Marketing research skills.

  • Self-starter who requires minimum oversight to execute assigned responsibilities.

  • Must have excellent communications and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work proficiently with MS Office and CRM.

  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.

  • Strong social skills – excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience providing business development focused on Department of Defense (DoD), or Federal agencies.

  • Experience and comfort interfacing at all organization levels, to include executive/CEO.

  • Current/ Active US security clearance

The projected compensation range for this position is $84,900-$141,100. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it’s employees beyond just compensation.
