JEVS Human Services Mental Health Specialist in United States

We are seeking a Recovery Educator for JEVS' Mobile Psychiatric Rehabilitation program. This program enables adults with mental illness to live independently and receive support. Services are flexible and tailored to each person’s unique desires and needs.
As the Recovery Educator, you will be responsible for sharing the underlying concepts necessary to recovery: hope, personal responsibility, education, self-advocacy, and support
This position is a mobile role and will function within the community.
Key Responsibilities:
Work to assist people to discover their strengths and help to enhance their recovery
Motivate people to develop, keep and achieve life goals
Provide individual and group activities, education, skill teaching and opportunities
Provide outreach to individuals in crisis or in need of extra support
Qualifications:
Associate's degree preferred
1+ years' experience in mental health direct service

The base pay for this position ranges from $38,000 to $40,000 and will vary based on factors such as skills and experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation that JEVS Human Services provides to recognize employees for their work.
