We are looking for capable, innovative, and enthusiastic achievers to join our team and grow with us. We are currently seeking a Mechanical Integrity Inspector I for our site in Charleston, TN.
What you will do:
The Mechanical Integrity Inspector I will be training and studying on path to obtaining and receiving certification to become Level 2 NDT inspector (6 months) under guidance by a certified NDT inspector 2 and API Inspector and MI Supervisor. In addition, this role will also be responsible for visual examination of equipment and piping.
Provides written reports on inspection findings.
Infield inspections for equipment and piping.
Studying codes and standards that cover inspections.
Reporting deficiencies to trainer and discussing resolutions.
Coordinating material to be able to carry out inspections.
What we need from you:
HS Diploma or equivalent
Limited ability to use drawings and PNIDs for inspection during training.
Be physically able to work in different types of environments.
Be able to stand for periods of time.
Capable to carry equipment up and down stairwells.
Have minimum computer skills.
Being an effective communicator.
