JEVS Human Services Manager of Family and Wellness Education in United States

This role, located in our Center City Philadelphia office, offers flexibility and a hybrid environment. This position is full time, 35 hours per week.

The Manager of Family and Wellness Education manages the day-to-day operations of the Family and Wellness Education subdepartment. This role will help the with the design, development, and implementation of learning goals, curriculum, and learning evaluation systems for the Work Ready Education and Strategy Department team. Additionally, they will guide counseling and wellness services and align these services with the learning goals of the Family and Wellness Education Subdepartment.

Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and implement learning goals, curriculum, and learning evaluation systems for the Work Ready Education and Strategy Department Family and Wellness Education team.

  • Guide counseling and wellness services and align these services with the learning goals of the Family and Wellness Education Subdepartment.

  • Oversee family and parenting supports and help design and manage interactive experiential learning activities such as math, science arts, music, movement, reading, and writing for parents and children of program.

  • Coordinate the partnership with the Drexel Building Wealth and Health program and integrate the learning goals of the program with the broader goals of the Family and Wellness Education Subdepartment.

  • Build staff capacity to support parents to effectively use educational technology.

  • Evaluate curriculum and participant progress through assessments, examinations, and group projects.

  • Assist staff in the development of the learning and counseling components of client Service Plans.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in related field OR 5 years of experience as a curriculum developer/instructor in lieu of degree.

  • Willing to work flexible hours.

  • Training management experience working with Adults and Youth.

The base pay for this position ranges from $52,000 to $64,000 and will vary based on factors such as skills and experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation that JEVS Human Services provides to recognize employees for their work.
