THE POSITION:

The Manager, Industrial Sales is responsible for market analysis, business development and materialization of accelerated sales for Industrial segment in the Americas as part of BAND-IT global growth initiative. To support this purpose, this role will be involved in all aspects of the Industrial segment sales responsibilities which include:

  • setting and delivering Annual Operations Plan (AOP) sales targets

  • Ensuring sales channels effectiveness

  • Resolving major channel partners and/or customer accounts’ challenges

  • Team management

  • Sales processes optimization

SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Strategy – Leads the development of comprehensive Americas Industrial sales strategy.

  • Networking and Relationship Management: Attends industry events, conferences, and networking functions. Explores and establishes partnerships to enhance business opportunities and stay connected to channel partners and customers. Collects, analyzes and present current and potential customers requirements to Sales and Marketing leadership. Proposes BAND-IT strategy to meet and exceed customer requirements. Presents BAND-IT value proposition to customers.

  • Channel Partners and Customers Relationship Management: Builds and maintains strong relationships with channel partners and customers. Optimizes channel partners effectiveness in achieving Industrial sales objectives. Understands client needs and challenges to provide tailored solutions. Ensures high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

  • Sales Management & Reporting – Establishes and delivers AOP sales target. Tracks and analyzes sales performance metrics. Regularly reviews and evaluates the effectiveness of sales strategies. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions. Adapts and develops revised plans in response to changing market conditions.

  • Leadership & Supervision - Leads the Americas Industrial Sales team through the development of team and individual goals that align to the AOP and 3-year Strategy Planning of BAND-IT. Sets motivating, stretching and achievable sales target which is aligned with business priorities. Leads performance management (e.g., annual reviews, goal setting, discipline), time & attendance management, and career development support.

  • Collaboration with Other Departments: Works closely with the leadership team to align sales efforts with desired initiatives and defined markets. Collaborates with the Engineering and Operations teams to ensure seamless project delivery.

  • Other duties as assigned.

REPORTING TO : VP, Direct Sales and Marketing

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred.

  • Successful experience selling to / supporting major industrial national accounts and buying groups or related types and channels of distribution required.

  • At least 5+ years sales and/or business development experience in similar level roles.

  • Experience in developing and executing sales & marketing strategies.

  • Excellent listening, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability in relationship building.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication.

  • Proficient in “value selling” concepts and tools. Must be able to develop and effectively present value-added solutions as sales proposals to a variety of stakeholders / decision makers in the target companies, from headquarters to branch locations.

  • Proficient in developing and communicating written strategic / business / marketing plans.

  • High level of self-motivation, “self-starter”, ambitious, strong work ethic, and integrity.

  • Sound general business, judgment, and decision-making skills.

  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities.

  • Passionate in pursuing pro-active solutions for customers and the company.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Proficient in internet use.

Physical Demands:

  • Travel up to 50% of time.

  • Long and irregular work hours across multiple time zones.

  • Lifting requirements are generally less than 10 lbs. Transport, set up and demonstrate company products including application tools, sample cases, trade show setup. Manual lifting could reach the company maximum of 50 lbs.

Total Rewards

The compensation range for this position is $117,500.00 - $176,300.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
