Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

V2X seeking a highly skilled, multifaceted, manager experienced in optimizing operational performance and cost reduction to maintain; inspect; repair various facilities; utilities; installed equipment; and infrastructure for our direct US Government contracts. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in identifying, strategizing, developing, and managing sustainable processes optimization and improved company financials.

This role requires a strong communication and collaboration skills. You will work closely with our project management team to track, monitor, and control the successful project implementation, deployment, and closeout.

This role is responsible for optimizing inspection; maintenance; and repair processes within facilities; installed equipment; utilities; and infrastructure. This role focuses on reducing task times for maintenance; inspection; and repair activities, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in maintenance operations, process improvement, and a proven ability to enhance operational efficiencies.

In this role you will be expected to work weekends, and holidays to support business and project requirements, as necessary. Travel within the United States and aboard may be required up to seventy (70) percent of the calendar year, with minimal notice.

  • Business & Growth Strategy:

  • Support business development (BD) and estimating departments strategize, plan, and provide subject matter expertise.

  • Cost Optimization:

  • Identify, analyze, communicate, and manage cost optimization projects from end-to end.

  • Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify, implement, communicate, and manage continuous improvement (CI) projects.

  • Conduct and train in person end-to-end process & time-per-task studies.

  • Measure current and future state maintenance; inspection; repair time-per-task.

  • Reduce maintenance; inspection; repair time-per-task & materials costs.

  • Provide business process mapping support

  • Data Analysis:

  • Develop and implement a plan to monitor and communicate maintenance/repair material cost.

  • Provide material consumption analysis.

  • Reduce maintenance/repair material cost.

  • Develop and implement a plan to monitor and communicate labor utilization and efficacy.

  • Provide labor utilization and efficacy analysis.

  • Improve labor utilization.

  • Work Control / Maximo Management:

  • Develop and implement, communicate, train, and manage a robust work control / production control program.

  • Develop, implement, and communicate a standard set of performance-based metrics to monitor work, activity, and task-based performance.

  • Directly manage the operational usage of Maximo. This includes system configuration; end-user training; general guidance; corporate policy, standard operating procedures; and work instructions. Develop business requirements documents and system change requests that are managed and executed by the information technology (IT) department.

  • Perform other projects; tasks; and/or duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Two-years of direct government contractor program or project related experience may be substituted for one year of education.

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, maintenance management, industrial engineering, or a related field.

  • Certification/Licenses:

  • Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) or equivalent required.

  • Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or equivalent preferred.

  • Trade Certification preferred (i.e., HVAC, Electrician, etc.)

  • ISO 9001 lead auditor certification preferred.

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.

  • Experience:

  • Five (5) or more years of continuous improvement, maintenance management, process improvement, or a similar required.

  • Five (5) or more years of asset management and/or maintenance management required.

  • Five (5) or more years using; managing; administering computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) (i.e., Maximo).

  • Experience identifying developing, executing, and managing complex continuous improvement projects.

  • Implementation of one (1) or more process improvement or cost optimization projects resulting in at least one (1) million USD of bottom-line profit.

  • Preferred Experience:

  • Five (5) or more years of direct government contract program or project related experience preferred.

  • Other Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain and retain a common access card (CAC) required.

  • Current United States passport holder required.

  • Ability to obtain and retain a United States secret security clearance preferred.

  • Active Secret Clearance preferred.

  • Skills & Technology:

  • Ability to converse, read and write English fluently at a college level.

  • Ability to supervise and manage the activities of a multi-national, culturally diverse workforce.

  • Ability to effectively track, monitor, manage and communicate project status and risk.

  • Competent in organizational change management

  • Expert in asset monitoring, predictive maintenance, work control management and reliability-centered maintenance.

  • Expert in business process mapping, value stream mapping, business process improvement.

  • Expert in continuous improvement (i.e., Six Sigma/LEAN; 5S; Gemba; Kanban; Heijunka).

  • Expert in direct cost optimization.

  • Expert in computerized maintenance management software (CMMS) (i.e., Maximo)

  • Expert in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Expert in self-management and time-management skills.

  • Expert in technical writing

  • The successful candidate’s starting pay will be based on, but not limited to, their job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.

  • The following salary range is intended to display the value of the company’s base pay compensation and may be modified at the discretion of the company.

  • USD $ 95,000 - 180,000

  • Provided salary range minimum and maximum values correspond to variances between regional/geographic locations across the United States.
