Magellan Health Services Lead / Sr Edifecs Architect - Fully Remote in United States

  • This fully remote position provides Edifecs / EDI architecture support as part of a team working on various sized projects.

  • Candidates should have 5+ years as an Edifecs Architect to be considered for the role.

  • Understand the Magellan Work Products that help capture the non-functional and functional requirements for an application/database/infrastructure solution.

  • Produce Magellan Architecture Work Products under the guidance of a Senior or Lead Architect to capture the design and specifications for the solution.

  • Document these solutions in LucidChart to support the projects.

  • Mindful of the Healthcare Industry and Digital Health trends.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Understanding of the fundamental principles of data modeling.

  • Ability to work with stakeholders, data experts/users to define data entities, elements and schemas as well as the data flow.

  • Understanding of frameworks

  • Ability to visualize complex issues

  • Possess Analytic problem solving skills as well as creative problem solving skills

This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from home.

This position provides architecture support for one or more concurrent projects across multi-platform and business area solutions.

  • Drive detailed and evolutionary designs and architectures of complex solutions involving at least two of the following domains within a solution: Application, Infrastructure, Security, Database or Business Process.

  • Lead the definition and communication of IT architecture and solutions for IT Leaders and development teams.

  • Mindful of the Healthcare Industry and Digital Health trends.

  • Other duties as assigned.

4+ years related experience including a minimum of 2+ years designing, building and deploying software in IT.

Expert in modern technologies and languages, development patterns, data modeling, cloud/PaaS and application integration technologies.

Critical Thinker.

Demonstrated problem solving techniques.

Experience leading cross functional project teams, workgroups.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Salary Range

Salary Minimum:

$93,955

Salary Maximum:

$159,725

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
