Would you like to support the financial operations of a company like Grundfos?

We are seeking an experienced Lead Finance Business Partner to join our Divisional Finance Operations team. This position reports directly to the Divisional Finance Director for Operations and will operate daily out of the San Luis Potosí, MX facility. Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must have authorization to work in Mexico without support.

What is the job about?

The Finance Business Partner represents Finance in the management team of the performance unit with the purpose of:

  • Proactively supporting and constructively challenges the management team in the definition and execution of business plans.

  • Contribute with constant focus on performance management and with high quality analysis strengthen the decision-making processes.

  • Being accountable for all financials in the performance unit and as such act, as one point of contact for the management team

  • Ensure optimal contribution to Group Profitability on relevant dimensions

Your main responsibilities:

  • With a forward-looking approach, provide financial insights to the unit management team on strategic and tactical level when defining long and short term business plans, quantifying the plans and setting milestone targets.

  • Conduct adhoc analysis and provide business decision support to unit management.

  • Secure in any business decision the financial value creation based on group profitability mindset and link to the overall strategy.

  • Charged with the implementation and growth of financial knowledge throughout the performance unit's hierarchy and areas of operation.

  • Facilitate the financial performance management in the unit management team in the definition of both long term and short term KPIs and the selection of relevant measurements. Monitor and follow up on main KPIs and ensure that the unit management team is taking corrective actions, if needed.

  • Drive the financial planning process, hereunder prepare the annual budget, periodic forecasts including suggestions to corrective actions and participation in relevant stakeholder meetings.

  • Be accountable for supporting or driving Strategic initiatives/projects in the Performance unit.

  • Take leadership in the finance community by involving, coaching, developing the relevant parties in FP&A, Shared service and Compliance controlling.

Your background

We imagine that you have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems like SAP, Oracle.

  • Very good knowledge of production processes and how they impact financial performance.

  • 5-7 years of post-qualification experience in roles such as Lead Accountant, or Senior Finance Analyst.

  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is highly desirable.

  • Experience in implementing or participating in financial projects and initiatives.
