Job Purpose:

We are currently looking for a King Air Firefighting Captain to provide safe and professional short notice, on-demand, aerial firefighting operations in Beechcraft King Air 200 aircraft. Company Compensation and Perks:

• Paid hourly, estimated yearly earnings $80,000 - $100,000+ Schedule is 13 days on (includes travel days) / 9 days off (Typically)

Job Location:

• California

• Relocation to California preferred, not required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct short notice on-demand aerial firefighting flights in an Air Tactical Group Supervisor (ATGS) role based out of various bases dependent upon national firefighting needs.

• Perform all duties and responsibilities of a single Pilot in Command (PIC)

• Become familiar with the mission and customer requirements and determine a plan for the execution of the mission.

• Conduct flight operations in accordance with Part 135 regulation standards and Dynamic operating procedures and policies.

• Work as a team to support aircraft maintenance with a Field Technical Representatives to achieve the common goal while meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Commercial pilot multi-engine certificate and instrument rating

• The following minimum fixed wing qualifications:

• Experience and qualifications are listed in Part 135.243 PIC under IFR

• 1500 hours total time

• 1200 hours PIC in an airplane

• 200 hours PIC multi-engine land

• 100 hours PIC ME fixed wing in the last 12 months

• 200 hours PIC flying low level in mountainous terrain at 2500 feet AGL and below terrain identified as mountainous in 14 CFR 95.11 and depicted in the Aeronautical Information Manual (AIM) figure 5-6-5

• 200 hours PIC night

• 500 hours PIC cross-country

• 50 hours PIC instrument in flight

• 75 hours PIC instrument simulated

• 25 hours PIC total time in Beechcraft King Air make and model

• 10 hours PIC in Beechcraft King Air make and model in the last 12 months

• Second class medical

• Ability to travel and make travel arrangements on short notice for movement from one fire location to another

• Ability to be issued an Interagency Pilot Qualification Card (i.e. pass the pilot carding process)
