Mission:
The Brand Activation team owns the national activation strategy and develops standardized Go To Market materials to drive the L’Oreal Paris brand vision to customer and consumers.
The role provides support to the Brand Activation team for the L’Oréal Paris Skin category. You are responsible for analyzing Marketing, Sales, Nielsen and Account Specific data for the purpose of managing the category for internal meetings and projects along with external industry conferences. Through this analysis, you will identify business opportunities and strategies to grow the brand at the accounts. You also assist coordinating, planning, implementing and analyzing account programs that lead to achievement of the brand’s business objectives and goals.
Core Responsibilities:
Support the Brand Activation team as the primary voice of the brand for category business development team and key account teams
Draw sales and retailer insights to:
Inform the team in representing voice of the customer across brand-driven conversations
Drive shopper activation plan & in-store displays
Connect Sales to Brand vision – and connects Marketing to Retail realities
Own go-to-market kit and selling materials
Drive channel strategy for brand
Analyze sales performance using tools like Nielsen and Power BI
Create account specific presentations by for L’Oréal Paris Skin that upper management can utilize for internal/external meetings
Identify weekly shifts in consumption and provide deep dive Market analysis by category and channel
Detailed analysis of account specific events, P&Ls, shipment forecasts, retail sales and new items sales
Develop/process ad hoc brand specific reports
Act as liaison to field sales teams
Meeting planning Forecasting Sessions, Sales MRM, Field Sales Workshops, Sales Meetings
Create presentations and templates for key meetings
Monitor internal reports from other cross functions to ensure sales alignment
Key Partners:
Brand Marketing- Provide retailer context to internal brand marketing teams
Field Customer Teams- Brand activation ensures that all customer activations are aligned to brand visions and priorities
Merch ops – Brand activation ensures brand visions are captured in wall strategy
Qualifications / Requirements
Recent college graduate (within 12 months of application) from a Bachelor’s program.
Demonstrated interest in Sales and Merchandising in the beauty industry.
Strong emphasis on Excel (pivot tables/using functions/etc.)
Effective interpersonal, collaborative, organizational, communication and analytical skills
Willing to travel from time-to-time based upon business needs
