As „Junior Central Standards Management specialist“ you are the key person for international and internal standards and process documents in the Palfinger Group. You support our product lines, centers of excellence and locations with your expertise. In international projects you are responsible for integrating our companies worldwide into the centralized standards system, defining new approaches to solutions and also have the opportunity to get to know the colleagues, products and other peculiarities of our companies.Furthermore, you will be responsible for converting our standards system and our documents from local to a global standard.
Establishment of a global standards system taking into account regional and local differences as well as different requirements of the global functions, product lines and regional specifics
Procurement of external standards as well as their provision & management (validity control). Monitoring of license agreements & costs
Support of end-to-end process owners in the preparation of PALFINGER standards & documents
Support in the creation of overarching management standards
Review, approval and provision of new / revised PALFINGER standards, documents and templates
Development of a document management system
Introduction of a standardized document release process according to the PALFINGER process organization
Regular review of the documents and standards procedures conformance (document audits)
Completion of a technical college (e.g. HTL - preferably mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics or similar)
1 year of professional experience (preferably in product and process development / management and application of standards)
Knowledge of product and approval standards and standard systems / interest in standardization
Analytical thinking and quick comprehension, elaboration of relevant standard contents (focus on the essentials)
Communication and assertiveness skills in an international environment
Goal- and company-oriented action
Ability to understand, communicate and manage complex cross-company and cross-cultural relationships
Ability to prioritise
Self-motivation and ambition
Very good (B2) knowledge of English (other languages in this area of activity are an advantage)
Willingness to travel

Minimum gross salary according to Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 39.433,34. We are willing to overpay according to training and qualification.
