Northeast Family Services IT Support Technician in United States
Northeast Family Services is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Tech Support professional to join our growing IT team based in our Warwick RI office.
The IT Support Technician is the first point of contact between the end user and the IT department. The IT Support Technician is responsible for working to either restore service as quickly as possible or alerting and/or escalating issues to the appropriate team member. This role requires extensive familiarity with IT processes and procedures, effective communication, and Help Desk / User support.

This position is on-site, not remote.
Responsibilities:
Monitor, respond to, and resolve IT tickets
Provide IT support to coworkers as needed
Troubleshoot complex issues on site and remotely, and escalate when needed
Install and configure hardware/software
Create and maintain technical documentation
Maintain IT asset tracking
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Must be able to work on-site in our Warwick RI office
Associate or bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
2 or more years of IT experience involving extensive help desk and related tech support
Experience with Windows OS support, Active Directory, and email support.
Experience with hardware and support of peripheral devices.
Experience acting as an escalation point for technical issues.
Experience providing support to non-tech savvy end users over the phone or through remote support
Familiar with information security practices and procedures to protect data from intrusion or corruption
Extensive knowledge of hardware and software configurations for networks & computers
Ability to troubleshoot mobile devices, network concepts, email configurations and MS office suite tools
