Procter & Gamble IT Senior Data Engineer - Data & Analytics in United States
We are currently looking for a Data Engineer to join our industry leading Data & Analytics team who is passionate about Business Units specific deliverables. Are you able to take abstract business needs and turn those into actionable data pipelines and analytics platforms to answer business questions?
The Data Engineer is responsible for building systems and solutions leveraging various approved cloud platform components and tools such as Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, or Amazon Web Services . You will lead this design, implementation, actively code, and adapt it to ensure it functions well.
Build data & analytics solutions in Microsoft Azure , G oogle Cloud or AWS – craft technical solutions from approved architecture to acquire, process, store and provide insights based on the processed data
Develop within existing designs of various solutions in Microsoft Azure environment to help the business get valuable insights
Suggest and implement architecture improvements
Work on automation and optimization of internal processes in Azure
Influence the future of these new technologies and the ways in which P&G uses them
Work with multifunctional and multinational teams within and outside of P&G
Focus on key business cases development within Data & Analytics + MS Azure , Google Cloud or AWS
Work on agile products using cloud solutions
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer / Systems / Industrial Engineering, Business / Management Information Systems or Software Development.
5+ years of experience in:
Python and SQL programming
Hands on experience writing clean, effective code
Using or building CI/CD tools
SCRUM and DevOps methodologies
Implementing projects & solutions using Microsoft Azure stack
PySpark and Hive programming skills
