RCM Technologies IT Business Analyst Specialist in United States
Full Time Contract Title: Business Analyst Location: Hybrid Hato Rey, Puerto Rico Length of Contract: 6 months Company Description: Our client is a leading provider of healthcare administration technology in Puerto Rico. They offer a robust suite of solutions designed to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and improve the overall experience for both healthcare providers and patients. Position Description: The Business Analyst will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and IT solutions within the healthcare insurance domain. This individual will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, documenting processes, and collaborating with IT teams to deliver effective solutions that support the organization's goals. Responsibilities
Analyze Business Needs: Conduct in-depth analysis of business requirements to identify opportunities for improvement and technology enhancements.
Gather Requirements: Elicit requirements from various stakeholders, document them clearly, and ensure they align with the organization's strategic objectives.
Develop Technical Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation, including user stories, functional specifications, and data flow diagrams.
Coordinate with IT Teams: Collaborate with IT teams to design, develop, test, and implement IT solutions that meet business requirements.
Model Business Processes: Create and maintain business process models and data flow diagrams to visualize current and future processes.
Conduct Gap Analysis: Assess the gap between the current state and the desired future state of the business, identifying areas for improvement and developing recommendations for change.
Required Qualifications
Technical Knowledge: Experience in system analysis, understanding of technological architectures, and knowledge of relevant tools.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex information, identify patterns and trends, and interpret results for decision making.
Effective Communication: Ability to translate information into easily understood terms for different stakeholders and collaborate effectively with various work teams.
Planning and Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, establish realistic deadlines, and efficiently manage time to meet objectives.
Project Management: Experience in project management, from requirements gathering to risk identification and mitigation planning.
Education and Certifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology) preferred.
3-4 years of work experience in computer sciences, data analysis, reporting, data management, or technology support.
