What You Will Do

• JOB SUMMARY

TheProcurement Internwillfocus onperforming anin-depthroot cause analysis and offering solutions concerning ongoing NTM (non-tobacco materials) inventory discrepancies.NTM inventory accuracy is one of many keys to ensuring the success of manufacturing versus production plans and continuous improvements in productivity.These ongoing discrepancies present challenges for both Manufacturing and our Planners. We have had to stop production on items due to shortages of NTM physical inventory although our system showed adequate inventory available. Our Planners have also had toexpeditematerials from our vendors to avoid having to stop production on a given item.The root cause analysis and potential solution willeliminatethesetypes of issues going forward.

Understanding and utilizing data-driven technology (Excel, SAP)

Understanding Receiving processes and NTM storage requirements

Qualifications

• REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Be at least 21 years of age

• Be a student who has completed coursework toward an undergrad degree in Procurement or a related field

• Be interested in Purchasing

• Be intermediate-advanced in MS Office products

• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills

At ITG Brands, interns are assigned challenging projects that create opportunity for exposure to other aspects of the business. As an Intern, you will:

• Participate in an important summer project

• Develop project management skills, providing clear plans and milestones to drive the project to completion

• Deliver a project presentation to members of the Executive Leadership Team, including the President & CEO

• Possess honed skills in Excel

• Demonstrate ability to work independently, use initiative, and complete the project while working with various stakeholders within the organization

• Develop communication skills enabling effective collaboration and relationship building across various levels of the Company

• Gain basic understanding of the activities of a classic consumer goods products company

• Be invited to attend Company social events
