Travelex HR Officer in United States

Role purpose

To support the HR team by providing high quality HR generalist support to Retail frontline and Support Office network of colleagues.

Key responsibilities include providing strong generalist and administration support, facilitating the recruitment and onboarding of new talent and provide learning and development support across the business. This role will consist of a high degree of advisory and administration tasks however will also offer the opportunity to support projects that will shape the business going forward.

Key accountabilities

  • Understand the business strategy and support the people agenda to support its delivery

  • Offering recruitment assistance to the company

  • Provide guidance, advice and coaching to managers on general day to day people related queries

  • Work in harmony as directed by the Head of HR to provide support to the business

  • Support leaders with employee relation issues.

  • Support the business with any Workday related queries

  • Audit the employee data management system to ensure all records are up to date

  • Works proactively with other HR colleagues to share learning, best practice and drive efficiency.

  • Participate in HR projects as and when required

  • Support the business with engagement by conducting regular ‘pulse take’ interviews and data collation from our engagement surveys.

  • Keeps up to date on key changes that may affect HR, understands current trends, best practice and innovations.

  • Improving, implementing and administering human resources policies and procedures

  • Conducting internal training programmes, create and deliver as required to meet the needs of the business.

Role specific experience and skills

  • Human Resource Generalist and/or Administration experience is preferred, including recruitment and training

  • Experience in a fast-paced environment preferred

  • Competent in administrative duties.

  • Excellent organisational and stakeholder management experience is preferred.
