Job Description

To oversee all administrative responsibilities of the women's volleyball program and managerial duties of the women's volleyball team, assistant coaches, and student assistants.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all facets of volleyball program administration and team management, including practice sessions, workout and conditioning session scheduling, team meetings contest scheduling, organize and oversee recruiting, team travel arrangements, and equipment needs and purchases.

• Adheres to and remains in compliance of all established standards of the NCAA, SWAC, TAMUS, PVAMU and its Athletics Department. Reports any violations of these established standards to the proper officials.

• Attends all workshops, clinics and conventions to keep current and aware of all areas relating to women's volleyball.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree.

• Five years of coaching experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.

• Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.

Other Requirements:

• Must be able to travel and work evenings and weekends as needed.
