Cardinal Health Head, Finance and Admin in United States

For this newly established Global Innovation and Capability Center, Cardinal Health is looking for a Site Operations Manager to help manage several site operating functions in our Bangalore office.

As the Sr. Manager/ Head of Finance and Admin, you will be part of the Enterprise Transformation Management Office and provide leadership and oversight on operating functions such as Finance, Accounting, Compliance, and Facilities. This is a key role that impacts all areas of the business - you will be working with team members and leaders, both internal and external. You will have the ability to directly impact and improve decisions and processes, and your work will increase the speed and efficiency of execution throughout the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Primary business partner for CHII organization and functional & operational leaders on all matters related to Site Administration, Finance, Accounting, and Compliance.
  • Serves as the CHII operational and administrative compliance officer to interface and coordinate with local government, regulatory & compliance agencies, statutory entities, and auditors.
  • Facilitates administrative compliance to meet local regulatory reportorial requirements through external and internal partnerships which includes but not limited to completion of annual financial audit, business permit requirements, etc. Serves as the primary liaison between the business and internal audit and finance & accounting.
  • Ensures accurate reporting for capacity planning, site expansion, headcount, and value realization
  • Establishes proper control framework, oversees testing and compliance of internal controls including overseeing remediation of any audit findings, as required, through collaboration with relevant parties in CHII and onshore.
  • Manages the financial and accounting requirements for the site and ensures adherence to relevant laws and defined processes locally and as part of Cardinal Health global network. Partners with our global Finance and Accounting teams to ensure budget /forecast approval and proper accounting treatment & policies are followed.
  • Leads a team of finance, accounting, compliance, and facility professionals. Key business partner to the Country Manager, Global Finance and Accounting leaders.
  • Ensures site administrative needs are delivered, site facility and premises are maintained well and in collaboration with security, health and safety, and human resources, the site provides a safe and conducive work environment. May be assigned to lead the Environmental, Health and Safety Committee for the site.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in Finance/Accounting, local compliance and site administration in Global Capability centers supporting the site level operating functions.
  • Self-directed, resourceful, and comfortable with operating in ambiguity.
  • Experience in financial planning and analysis including basic modeling.
  • Excellent communicator and relationship builder. Ability to work in a matrix structure.
  • Experience in organizing and managing cross-functional projects.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for Leadership, Governance Meetings, Stakeholders etc. and drive process for data collection and reporting – analyzing information and asserting messages to drive behavioral change and quality of updates.
